- Worsted Weight Yarn
- Size I Crochet Hook
- A button that will fit in between your double crochet stitches
- Thread and needle
ch = chain
st = stitch
dc = double crochet
ea = each
Note: First ch 2 counts as dc.
Row 1: ch 6, dc in first 3 chs made, making 4 dc total
Row 2: ch 2, turn. dc in 2nd st from hook and each stitch across, including very last st (5 dc)
Row 3-13: repeat row 2. This will make an increase per row and you will end up with 16 dc total in last row
Row 14: ch 2, turn. dc in each stitch across, but NOT the very last stitch to maintain 16 dc
Row 15-31: repeat row 14 (16 dc)
Row 32: ch 2, turn. skip first st, dc in ea st across (15 dc)
Row 33-42: repeat row 32 to continue with a decrease per row until you end up with 4 dc in last row
Fasten off, weave in ends.
