Sometimes I wish I could quit my job and just stay at home all day and crochet. Ok, maybe I wish that more than sometimes. Unfortunately, if that were to happen I wouldn't have any money to support my habit. (We're still talking crochet here.) So I have to squeeze in crochet time whenever I can in between my full time job and my other full time job of being mom. (Too bad I can't get money for that one.)
Here is another
floppy sun hat I made with cotton yarn. I like it much better with the cotton. I bought 2 skeins of Sugar and Cream Yarn from Walmart. One wasn't enough, but I didn't use all of the second one.
Love the hat. :O)
ReplyDeleteI share your sentiments exactly.
ReplyDeleteI love the hat!
ReplyDeleteI'm on the other side of this and YES you are much more focused on trying to sell some items so you can buy some more yarn!! It's so thrilling and satisfying to get those occasional custom orders.
ReplyDeleteBTW...LOVE the flower! Do you have a link/pattern for that? My grand-daughter loves the flowers I make for her hair.
Thanks for visiting and all the comments!
ReplyDeleteAngela, I got the flower pattern from the book 150 Knit & Crochet Motifs.
I've said the same thing many times the last couple of months. :)
ReplyDeleteSo many skeins of yarn, rubber stamps, beads, baby headbands to make...so little time. I just recently found your blog. I enJOY it & want to spend more time there.
Thanks Dawn, come back any time! By the way, your cards are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYes!!! I'm the same exact way. Every day it seems I crunch the numbers and realize that I just can't do it . . . . YET! But our day will come! Lovely hat!
